This page starts the new season of work for the winter of 2007. It extends on my existing night work, and develops a technique most photographers would not consider reasonable, which took a bit of effort to start to bear fruit.
If the seasons allow it should be a very enjoyable winter

This one was taken the other day, on a night that allowed the camera to look deep into space.
Perhaps it is just a love of place and time but I adore doing what was once considered impossible.
An Equinoxal low easterly moonrise formed the basis of this complex composition.
The techniques used are real world not magical, but the effect is.

Solitude is the start of a study looking at the nature of dimension, texture, flow, and motion, achieved using a bizzarre in-camera technique. I am uncertain whether it is new and tried before, but it is able to produce images that are unforgettable. These timeswirl images will grow in number. Again I am looking at ways of seeing that are beyond the human eye.
Flowing water imagery is not novel, however this technique dramatically changes how it appears.
The imagery has a deliberate dimensionless feel to it, I hope to expand on.
I love this one for the atmosphere of enduranceThe Shore emphasises the weakness of waves, when they impact rock shores such as we have on Mull. Erosion is a slow process.
These images are taken on old lava flows.
